DIY: Nail Art for Beginners

Nail Polish time is the best time!

I stumbled upon a very simple way to add a little flare to your nails and I wanted to share of course!  This quick and easy trick will take your manicure/pedicure from glam to glamorous and it will make it look professional and put together. This is also perfect for those who do not have nail art tools!

You'll need:
  • Two nail polishes or more if you'd like!
  • A plastic sandwich bag or something similar
  • Bobby pin

Now on to the fun part...

Polish your nails whatever base color you choose. I chose NYC 201 Fashion Safari because this formula dries quickly.

Then you take the other polish and dab or pour a little out on the plastic bag. I like using the plastic because the nail polish will not dry fast on it.

Take your bobby pin and with the longest part, dip it into the polish.

You are then going to select a finger to create dots on... I chose my ring finger. This nail polish is by Wet n Wild and it's called The Gold & the Beautiful.

The gold didn't photograph as well as I wanted it to, so I wanted to add another color scheme to show the bobby pin effect...
