Top 5 Fall Lipsticks (Swatches) + a GIVEAWAY | November 2013

Hi everyone! I'm going to share a few lipsticks that I love for Fall. I change up my lipsticks often but these are my favorites... for now. Some look like the same shade but hey, I see a difference! (maybe not..) Anyway, let's get started!

NYX Butter Gloss in Tiramisu

This gloss is the perfect nude-pink to go with a smoked out eye or to tone down a bold lip color. I also use it on top of other lipsticks, just to add extra shine. These also smell incredible, like vanilla cupcake batter- if I had to describe it. They glide on, you get color payoff and your lips feel moisturized.

MAC Lipstick in Viva Glam V

Viva Glam V is the perfect blend of pink, gold/bronze, and coral. I think it would look great on both cool and warm skintones. It's not drying at all and it's the perfect everyday lipstick. I like to wear it with a neutral or smokey eye. I also like the the subtle champagne shimmer, it's not bold or chunky at all. Also a huge plus: all proceeds go to the MAC Aids Fund when you purchase from this line.

Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick in Black Cherry

I saw this lipstick online and immediately had to have it. I think it's the perfect dark cherry shade for Fall. It's not drying and I like to pair it with my Naked Basics palette or a cat eye look. The color really stands out, so if you're not into dark shades- this is not for you.

MAC Lipstick in Rebel

This shade has been one of my staples for a while. It's dark in the tube but looks are deceiving, it's a really pretty berry color once applied. You can dab it on your lips for more of a pinkish shade or build up for the full on plum/berry shade. It's just really pretty and perfect for those who are not into the 'vamp' lipstick shades that are trending. This color would flatter any skintone and I like that it leaves behind a stain.

NYC Ultra Moist Lip Wear in Mahogany

You guys! I went out on a limb and purchased this $0.97 lipstick because it was the last one and I wanted to test the quality. The results are in and I love it! It's moisturizing due to having vitamin e within the formula and it glides on. I was really impressed with the price and quality! The lipstick formula is light but you get great color payoff. It's really dark but you can dab it on or blot it down to a lighter shade. The drawbacks would be it doesn't last that long but you can set it to make it last a tad longer. Another one would be the packaging, I am not sure why companies insist on creating lipstick packaging that you have to be extra careful when removing or putting the top back on... BUT can you really complain when it's under a buck?!
